sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
add this line
options snd-hda-intel model=generic
then save and reboot
if dose not work,you can try this: apt-get install apt-get build-dep gedit
if all dose not work, you can try apt-get build-dep tracker
you can search use apt-cache search pachage-name
