Job Title: Account SE/Sr. SE

Major Job Duties:

• Fills out the technical portions of RFIs/RFPs independently
• Maps high-level business problems to BEA technology solutions independently
• Modifies standard demos to meet customer’s business needs
• Acts as the primary technical point of contact for accounts/partners within their territory
• Tracks customer’s/partner’s technical issues and escalates to others in BEA, where needed
• Understands and inventories customer’s/partner’s architectures, applications, and identifies and help to qualifies new opportunities in their accounts
• Provides regularly scheduled on-site management of the technical relationship (offers opportunity for getting questions answered, issues addressed, etc.)
• Ensures solutions are technically complete and facilitates detailed technical solutions through the application lifecycle.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5 years industry experience, in which 2 years of coding experience can be identified, and at least 1 year of them should be on BEA or related products, at least 1 year as an architect.
• 2 years experience as a presales consultant with customer focus, or equivalent experience
• Working experience in banking and financial industry is highly preferred.
• Portal & EAI related project experience is highly preferred

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of both MS Windows and Unix-style operating systems
• Ability to architect and design a J2EE based distributed system
• Ability to write, compile, and debug web services applications
• Ability to write SQL along with a strong understanding of relational databases
• Ability to understand EIS/EAI concepts, messaging and data models as part of an overall integration solution.

• Portal experience is preferred
• Integration experience is preferred
• Strong software development life cycle knowledge ispreferred
• C/C++ experience and TP Monitor experience is preferred
• RFID skills and experience is definitely a plus
