Recommend a web page for improving English listening comprehension: Listening Express.
It inculdes several Radio and TV stations. I usually listen to "BBC Radio 4", "BBC Radio 6", "VOA Music Mix" and "VOA Talk to America". Perhaps they could be the background music when u're coding.
