這里講的是對于典型的簡單安裝的：即所有的程序組件都安裝在同一臺機器上。
1. 在當(dāng)前的用戶下進行安裝ArcGis server9.2程序.
2. 安裝部分（ArcGIS Server post installation）:在“開始-程序-ArcGIS Server-AS post installation”中啟動。在提示下，設(shè)置管理員賬號，密碼；容器賬號，密碼。在＂ＮＥＸＴ＂提示下一步步走，其中一步是要連接到授權(quán)文件＂ＡrcGIS Server.ecp＂,點擊＂瀏覽＂找到這個文件就可以了．這樣就完成了該部分的安裝.
3. 安裝完成后，首先要做的是通過將當(dāng)前系統(tǒng)用戶添加到agsadmin用戶組，完成創(chuàng)建管理gis服務(wù)帳戶的創(chuàng)建．通過右鍵單擊＂我的電腦－管理－本地用戶和組－組＂在列表中找到agsadmin用戶組，右鍵單擊它，選擇＂添加到組＂便可操作完成．
4. 添加用戶組，也是類似于1中的步驟，找到agsusers用戶組，進行添加。
5. 打開ArcGIS Catalog，在左側(cè)的GIS Server節(jié)點中的“Add GIS Server”雙擊，在彈出的窗口中，選“Manager gis services ”項，輸入Sever URL 和 服務(wù)器的機器名，就完成GIS服務(wù)器的連接,這里用到ArcGis Catalog是為了能夠連接數(shù)據(jù)庫來讀取地圖數(shù)據(jù),也可以用ArcSde來連接。
這樣就完成了整個的安裝.
接著打開ArcGIS Server Manager頁面，出現(xiàn)登錄窗口。這里我們在User Name中填寫用戶名，格式為：機器名\ 用戶名；密碼為當(dāng)前系統(tǒng)用戶的登錄密碼。
如果此時提示"登錄信息有誤",試著把windows防火墻關(guān)閉,如果能打開ArcGis Server Manager,我們將需要對windows防火墻進行一下設(shè)置調(diào)整:
- Navigate to Windows Firewall.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Windows Firewall
The firewall is 'On' by default, the 'Recommended' setting.
- Click on the Exceptions tab.
- Click 'Add Port'.
- Add the following information:
Name: Web Port (http)
Port Number: 80
Type: TCP
Click OK.
- To add port 135, click 'Add Port'.
- Add the following information:
Name: DCOM (ArcGIS Server)
Port Number: 135
Type: TCP
Click OK.
- Click 'Add Program' to add an exception for ArcSOM.exe.
- Click 'Browse' and navigate to:
<ArcGIS Install Directory>\bin\ArcSOM.exe for example:
C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\bin\ArcSOM.exe
Click OK.
- Click Add Program to add an exception for ArcSOC.exe.
- Click 'Browse' and navigate to:
<ArcGIS Install Directory>\bin\ArcSOC.exe for example:
C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\bin\ArcSOC.exe
Click OK.
- The ports and programs entered should now appear in the list of Programs and Services. Verify check marks appear next to each component.
- Close Windows Firewall.
登錄進去后，即可進行ArcGis server的配置了.
