Think in Java已經發布3版了，那么，第4版在哪里呢？大量的email在詢問 Bruce Eckel。為了回答這個問題，Bruce將他的blog遷移到Artima以后，
，來解答這個問題。
在第4版里，將包含23個章節。目前，除了5個章節之外，其余的都已經寫好。而剩下的這5章，Bruce認為是最難寫的（“the 5 chapters are the hard ones. ”）。其中包括了“Generics” 和 “Concurrency”兩部分。
那么，什么時候會看到第4版呢？Bruce原定在今年2月寫完的，但是現在推遲到過完這個夏天（估計9，10月份）。書稿完畢以后，Hands-On Java CD 也將更新。
