IBM收購了Gluecode （開發以Geronimo為核心的J2EE應用服務）以后，Geronimo的開發似乎一下子熱鬧起來了。developerWorks網站上，在一周之內，發表了3篇關于Geronimo的有趣的文章：

- Create, deploy, and debug Apache Geronimo applications
- Building a better J2EE server, the open source way
特別是Geronimo! Part1，詳細描述了Geronimo的系統結構。而Geronimo的開發，相比之前，似乎加快了不少，第二篇文章中就介紹了IBM開發的用于Geronimo的一個Eclipse構件，但是需要和Eclipse WTP一同工作。希望Eclipse WTP可以把這個plug-in包含到WTP里面。
