SPAN OF CONTROL:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work independently with onshore NAM developer and project leaders on Credit Risk application, need to discuss with NAM Project Leader on requirement, enhancement and do trouble shooting.
· Design and development of software for a enterprise web application
· Development of database schemas, analysis and design of application-level security
· Do understand the current Credit Risk systems, design and develop Java/J2EE, Flex,.NET, Unix shell program.
· Work on Basel II and Credit Risk enhancement projects supporting Basel II U.S. implementation and model.
· Perform end to end system integration and UAT, and quantitative data analysis. Address UAT and client issues.
· Design and develop high-volume critical Credit Risk applications.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
- Develop J2EE web applications and Java backend process.
- Deliver tasks and projects under aggressive deadlines. Improved system architecture, data quality and analytical models to meet Basel II and risk management requirements. Be able to resolve data quality, system and client issues independently.
- Handle ad hoc user queries.
- Be able to work independently with minimum input.
- Can clarify requirement with onshore NAM customers
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- About 5+ years Java/J2EEE working experience.
- Sounds java programming experience. Good design and concept of web application. Strong experience of building Web application. Good concept and experience software quality control.
- Know database concept very well and sounds experience of Oracle or Sybase developing
- Strong DB developing experience is plus/ has concept of data mart is a plus
- Experience with Spring and Hibernate ORM
- Experience developing SOA and writing/consuming web services is a plus
- Flex development experience is a plus.
- Sounds experience on Unix programming is a plus.
- Can work independently with limit guidance. Able to communicate with NAM onshore team and customer directly.
- Good command of spoken English and communicate effectively with onshore clients, project manager and IT staff from various system applications.
- Have experience of drive and run small projects. Can make project plan and execute the project plan on schedule.
- Work under high pressure, result oriented.
- Learn quickly, self-driven, positive working attitude.
- Background of working in a foreign company is a plus
- Working Knowledge of Basel II or any other regulators is a plus.
- Knowledge on financial products especially risk management (credit or market risk) is a plus
- Must be well organized and able to manage own time to meet deliverables and deadlines
