Francois Orsini has announced that Apache Derby has become bundled with the latest 1.6 JDK. "...yes it has become a reality! - It is a very exciting event indeed to have an Open Source Java Database System bundled into Sun's *latest* 1.6 JDK (Mustang build 88 to be more precised), and at no cost."

derby, 前兩天仔細(xì)看了一下居然是以前的cloudspace，以前就出名了，后來(lái)幾經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)手倒賣，最后被ibm捐贈(zèng)給apache了。

sun挺讓人失望的，應(yīng)該嵌入一個(gè)oo數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)，比如db4o之類的。搞這么個(gè)雞肋真是無(wú)聊。回復(fù) 更多評(píng)論

Derby is bundled only with JDK, not JRE which end users have on their machines, so it makes no sense, what's more, there is no "standard" in the Java world. 回復(fù) 更多評(píng)論
